More monchromatic, some old product, some new product . . .

Here are some examples of me playing with the whole monochromatic scheme.  Been wanting to work a card with the peacock from the summer mini - cased this idea from the web.

Two more using a new hostess set from the upcoming catalog releasing July.

These I cased as well, loved the use of the retiring Star punch !

I have been seeing a lot of cards lately with a monochromatic color scheme so I thought I would give it a try.  Here is a couple of tries . . .

Hello there everybody . . . remember me!

Sorry for the absence, and hopefully you'll see more of me.  My post today is a SWAP card from a demonstrator meeting my fabulous upline Sandi MacIver had for us this last weekend.  It is always so much fun going to her place.  She is never fails to inspire and she gets you excited to do more!!  THANKS Sandi!  I always try to do my best to compare with her work, so I tired some new stuff on this one.  Anyone who knows me knows that folding paper is a passion of mine, so I worked it in, in two different places!

So, the card opens and pops out all from folding a 12 x 5&1/2 piece of card stock (final size being 4 X 5&1/2).  Pretty cool I thought, here are pictures trying to capture it.  All supplies are from the Stampin' Up Summer mini using the Fabulous Florets, Beyond the Garden DSP, and new embossing powder.

The flower on the outside that I used as the embellishment was folded from the 5-petal die cut on the Island floral die and then embossed.

The folding of the flower here is a flatter version, but still a great three dimensional treat!  I will include my homemade instructions here if you want to give it a try, or check out my video showing how to fold it.  It's my first so be kind :)

Hope you enjoy!  and I will try to show more examples of the great folded flowers in days to come.  Plus more cards.

Or is it!!  Tomorrow is the big event and we are all excited and a little scared.  All should be good, right?  We're sharing what we love to do, couldn't be better!!  Here are some more examples of cards created using all the new goodies (and some old) from Stampin' Up.

And, wish that, I am out to finish getting ready!  Enjoy!

Long Time No See Everyone!

Been super busy, and life got away from me there for a short period, but I am back with some new stuff.  Hopefully, over the next few days I will be able to share with you some of the things I have been working on for the upcoming Expo event that I will be part of (there is a bunch of awesome stuff).  Here is a couple of cards that didn't make the cut and won't be there (Expo) with me and the ladies.  I would also like to say to my friend Cordelia, these two are for you :)

Both of these cards were made from a Hostess set in the current catalog (the phrases were from other sets).  Simple color combination, a die (top note), and a punch.  Enjoy :)

In the spirit . . . sort of :)

Hello everyone, long time no post.  Sorry about that, life seems to get away from you from time to time.  This will be a quick one today.  I have had these cards made for a little while, and with Valentine Day tomorrow, I thought I had better share them.  I will try for more tomorrow as well.  Enjoy!

Mojo 174

It was a bust day, but I got time to get the mojo out!!  Something about the layout this week spoke to me . . . it said do asian.  So here it is.  Stamps are all Stampin' Up retired sets.  The colors I used were Not quite Navy, Bijou Blue, and Very Vanilla.  Oh, and gold!  The bit I used for the smaller panel is a piece of Washi tissue, one of my favorite papers!  Hope you all like it.  Peace.
