Another Challenge !!

I had to do this one the minute I saw it last night, I thought it would look great with one of my folded stars - but with a twist.  I didn't make the middle spokes stick striaght up, instead I figure a different way to finish it, and then curled the new points up.  I love the effect, and it is much better for cards as it doesn't protude out as far.  The card is very handsome I think!  I never make square cards either so there is another first for me too.  Enjoy everyone!!

Challenge

We;; I had some extra time and crafted a good share of my day away.  I have found that I really like the challenge of Blog Challenge's, so I did two new ones today.  The first is Inkspirations Colour Challenge #50.  Fun colors, and since I am in the Christmas mode (like many of you), it was especial fun doing a different color scheme.

The second was from Just Add Ink 45 @ http://just-add-ink.blogspot.com/.  Simple layout sketch - made for   beautiful card!

X-Mas cards with folded bows.

Here are two cards I made tonight with folded bows.  These new little guys are my new addiction, I can't stop folding them.  This are only half finished so that they lay flat on the card.

First official workshop behind me . . .

I had my first workshop with strangers in attendance (up until this time it's only been my crafting pals) this weekend and it was very fun, and a learning experience! Here are examples from the event, six cards total, all Christmas using the stamps from the current bundle specials at Stmpin' Up.

Mojo Monday Challenge #165

Here is my take on this weeks sketch from Mojo Monday.

I used Soft Suede, Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, and Deck the Halls DSP papers and inks for this.  I used the Chirstmas Collage background stamp, the Bells & Boughs stamp set, and Welcome Christmas set.  Also from Stampin Up, I used the Decorative punch, circle punches, and champagne glass glitter.

A new Blog!!

Hello everyone and welcome to my new crafting Blog!!  I will be posting mostly cards and things that I make from my wonderful Stampin' Up products (I'm a demonstrator), and a few other things from time to time.  Bare with me as this is a learning process.  Already I am behind where I wanted to be - the intention was to make my first post this weeks Mojo Monday Challenge, it will be tomorrow :)  I thought I'd share some cards I made with a group of wonderful friend about a week ago for Thanksgiving.  It was a kind of test run for my first workshop I am having this weekend feature Christmas product from Stampin Up.  How you enjoy them, and let me know what you think.  Wish me luck too !!  Heheh!
