I sat down and took a break tonight, much needed, and the result was this asian ( very non-holiday!) card.  I love asian themed cards and I got to use one of my favorite colors, Poppy Parade.  Hope you enjoy!!

Hello Everyone!!

Hope everyone had a great holiday's!!  It flew by didn't it?!  It was just like when you lay down and shut your eyes, and the next minute the alarm is going off.  Your like what happened!!  I promise to have a card to show you soon, I actually just got done with one, but I can't show you until Thursday.  I was asked to create for Friday Mashup as I won last weeks Mashup Maven !!   Whoo Hoo!!  It's a pretty card too.  Simple and fun.  Come back and see it then.

Mojo Monday Challenge #170

Here is my take in this weeks challenge, and I think Christmas cards are finally done for the season.  I wanted to use new stuff anyways!!  And, I love the new birds sitting on the line!!  Hope you enjoy!!

Friday Mash-up and more . . .

Here is my go at the Friday Mash-up #23 (Friday Mashup!).  I am still trying to get use to square cards, they are growing on me.  Love these colors, I took them from a retired DSP called Wintergreen.  Totally cutie and fun !!

Liked the color so much I had to do another.  Simple and beautiful I think!!

Here is another card I made today with some scraps!  Was inspired from a card I saw in an old magazine - presto another Christmas card !

Thought I'd share this card I made for my friend Crystals birthday, she loves cupcakes and the pink and brown combo . . . very cute card!!

Well it been a while . . .

but, I have some new stuff to share with you.  I was a bit under the weather and not feeling terribly inspired for a few days so forgive the absence.  I am back and have a few cards to share.  Yay!!  I worked on the Mojo Monday Challenge for this week #169, I went with clean and simple.  I think I am getting burnt out on Christmas Cards . . . Hehehe!

More Challenges from my crafting weekend . . .

After being so busy last week, I sat crafting all day Sunday amd here are some of the results.  First up, the Paper Pals Color Challenge (PPA71).  I wanted to stay with Christmas and these aren't what I would go for typically, but the result was great.

Secondly I used the Inkspirations Sketch Challenge #51 layout, and re-worked the previous card.  Again I really liked it.

The last card I made is from creative-sketches.com.  I had some puffy Christmas stickers that were begging to be used for this one.  I was going for the 70's theme tinsel trees on this one - hence the color choices.  Fun!!

I am on top of things for Mojo #168 this week.  I had lots of fun with this one!  I got it into my head that the great collages done with French Foliage could translate into winter scenes, so here it is!!  I used shimmer paint and glitter under all that UTEE, it is hard to see but really awesome.  I, of course, traded the leaves for snowflakes !!

Mojo was a little sluggish this week . . .

I finally got it done, a day before the next one . . hehehe. I was trying new techniques out with embossing powder and glitter. What a mess I created! Glitter is my bane, and now I have it from one side of my crafting area to the other. Again this card is all about the snowflakes, I never get tired of them. I tried to stay with only using Silver specialty paper and Whisper White. I used some retired DSP of Taken with Teal in it to brighten the whole thing up. Enjoy :)

ColourQ Challenge, just under the wire!

Wow !!

Can I say more then . . .Wow !!  I'm am having such a great time with all this stuff (Stamping and Blogging)!!  I found out that my last post to the PPA challenge won for the week!!  Woot!!  I was so excited!!  I get to put there badge on my blog and everything, you'll see it over there on the right.  Had to figure that out too, but Blogger info abounds, thank heavens!  And, look at all the great people that have visited and left comments and are following.  Love it!!  I am getting addicted to all the attention.  Here all a couple of cards I did over the weekend, hope you like them.  I need to get down to the crafting space and start working on this weeks challenges too.  Wish me luck, things are super busy.
